Part-Time Kennel Technician & Receptionist (Crossover Role)

Do you love working with animals and people alike? Wagging Tails Pet Resort is looking for a dependable, compassionate individual to join our team in a part-time crossover role supporting both our front desk and pet care operations.

About the Position:
This position splits time between kennel and reception duties, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional care for our pet guests and their families. You’ll assist with cleaning, feeding, and monitoring dogs in our resort while also helping pet parents with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting clients with warmth and professionalism
• Checking pets in and out for daycare, boarding, and grooming
• Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
• Monitoring and caring for dogs and cats in our facility
• Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, play areas, and common spaces
• Feeding, walking, and providing enrichment for pets
• Assisting with laundry, stocking supplies, and general upkeep
• Communicating clearly with the team to ensure each pet’s comfort and safety

Qualifications:

• Prior animal care or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

Schedule:
Part-time, variable hours — typically between 15-25 hours per week, with weekend availability required.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus opportunities for growth within our team.
