Part-Time Learning Pod Guide | Host a Small Student Group

Sunny Microschools is looking for part-time Pod Leaders who can help launch a small learning pod in their home or an approved community space.

Certified teachers lead the academic instruction online. Sunny provides the curriculum, systems, enrollment support, and ESA/scholarship billing support.

Your role is simpler:

You provide the space. You help find the first students. You create the fun, supportive in-person experience.

This may be a strong fit if you’re a homeschool parent, former teacher, tutor, childcare professional, enrichment instructor, paraprofessional, coach, or community-minded adult with space to host students.

What to Expect

To launch a pod, we need three things from you:

1. Provide the Space

You need a safe home or approved community space where students can meet during weekday daytime hours.

This should be a place where a small group of students can learn, do activities, and spend time together.

2. Help Find the First Students

Sunny helps with marketing and parent enrollment.

But the strongest Pod Leaders usually know at least a few local families who may be interested.

We are looking for people who can help identify the first 2 students or families who may want to join.

3. Launch the Pod

Once the space and first students are ready, Sunny helps you move through the launch process.

That may include reviewing your space, setting up your pod, introducing interested families, and getting ready for your first day.
