Job Objective: BIBF is seeking Part-Time Lecturers to teach one or more internationally recognised professional qualification programmes like ACCA, CPA (US), CMA, AFM, and CFA courses.
The Lecturer is required to deliver lectures and to ensure alignment with global examination standards, evaluate student progress and performance against defined learning outcomes and exam success benchmarks.
The lecturer is expected to deliver training in any the following areas:
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Management Accounting & Performance Management
- Financial Management & Corporate Finance
- Audit, Assurance & Governance
- Taxation (where applicable to certification pathways)
- Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management
- Ethics, Professional Standards & Regulatory Frameworks
- Quantitative Methods for Finance and Accounting
Responsibilities: • Teach and manage learning activities across any one of professional qualification programmes delivered by BIBF, including ACCA, CPA, CFA, CMA, and AFM pathways.
- Participate in the administration, design, and marking of mock examinations, progress tests, and final assessments aligned with professional body standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, achievement, attendance, and exam readiness, and provide structured feedback to students and Training Managers.
- Develop and apply innovative, exam-focused teaching methodologies that enhance understanding, engagement, and student success rates.
- Develop, update, and continuously improve training materials to ensure alignment with syllabus updates from professional bodies and evolving global standards.
- Support the planning and implementation of a high-quality curriculum, ensuring course structure, delivery methods, and assessments are aligned with professional qualification requirements.
- Review and maintain syllabi, textbooks, question banks, revision kits, lecture notes, and exam practice materials in line with institutional and awarding body standards.
- Follow up on student submissions, mock exams, case studies, and performance reviews, and act as an assessor, internal verifier, or invigilator as required.
- Support programme administration, academic enhancement initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of pass rates and student experience.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Head of Centre.
Requirements & Experiences: • Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent is highly desirable
- 2–3 years of experience in teaching within professional qualification programmes
- Experience in preparing students for professional examinations and assessments
- Experience in marking, assessment design, and exam preparation delivery
- Strong understanding of learning and teaching practices in Higher/Further Education or professional training institutions
- Experience in curriculum development and syllabus mapping against external awarding bodies
- Demonstrable academic, teaching, and administrative experience in professional education environments
