Part-Time Live-In CNA

Overview
This unique role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care in a supportive environment for a very kind and patient adult TBI triplegic adult male, help him maintain his independence and provide him with individualized companionship. As a vital member of his care team, you will deliver high-quality personal care while enjoying the benefits of a part-time live-in schedule that allows a healthy balance of personal and work time.

Shifts:

Wed 8am - Sat 8am weekly

Sun 8am - Wed 8am Twice monthly: First & Third week

Responsibilities

• Monitor health status and respond promptly to changes.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Administer medications accurately following medical documentation protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize equipment such as ceiling lifts and perform catheter care, vital signs checks, and other medical procedures safely.
• Assist with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents.
• Support resident during emergency situations
• Collaborate with client's guardian and care team to ensure comprehensive home & community care tailored to his individual needs.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification with current licensure in good standing
• Have or agree to acquire a contract with Consumer Direct of Washington (CDWA) https://www.consumerdirectwa.com/become-a-provider/
• Clear CDWA, HUD and guardian's background checks
• Current WA DL (clean driving record; no DUI)
• At least two years proven experience as a personal care provider in private home (preferred), assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments.
• At lease one year experience with medically involved patients beneficial.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Accurate documentation.
• Ability to provide one-person bed mobility
• Ability to perform patient observation and assist with ADLs compassionately
• Effectively follow DDCS care plan and guardian's training.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Organized, clean and amiable
• Reliable transportation and cell phone
• 3 professional references
• Ability to accommodate part-time, live-in employment hours and adapt to the resident's changing needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $425.00 - $450.00 per day

Expected hours: No more than 72.0 per week
