Maintenance Assistant (Part-Time, Weekends Only)

Grand Villa is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working exclusively on weekends. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep
• Conduct inspections of common areas, resident units, and exterior spaces to identify maintenance needs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facilities operate efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities
• Support the team in emergency repairs and troubleshooting as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in building maintenance, repair, or a related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site
