Part Time Manager

Part-Time Salon Manager (20-25 Hours/Week) – Breckenridge & Dillon

Location: Oversight for Breckenridge, CO & Dillon, CO (On-site presence required)

Mountain Glo is seeking an exceptionally organized and motivating Salon Manager to oversee daily operations and champion our thriving culture across both locations. The Mission of This Role:

The Salon Manager is the operational heart of Mountain Glo, responsible for upholding our standards of high-quality, personalized service and ensuring a positive environment where every employee and client can GLO on the inside and out.

Core Responsibilities (The How-To):

• Culture & Team Morale: Act as a catalyst for a positive work environment, plan team bonding, and enforce our growth mindset philosophy.
• Operational Oversight: Manage weekly scheduling for all staff, ensuring optimal client availability and maximizing chair usage.
• Financial & Inventory Control: Oversee retail and supply inventory checks (1st and 15th of the month) and coordinate all ordering.
• Client Management: Handle complex client and service provider issues, resolving conflicts professionally while adhering to our standards.
• Team Accountability: Proactively manage and enforce all SOPs, especially those related to cleanliness ("cleaning is everyone's job") and professional presentation.
• Marketing Support: Assist in planning monthly client events and promoting salon offers.
• Onboarding & Training: Lead the initial onboarding process for all new W2 hires (stylists, front desk, apprentices) and assist in scheduling team training.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven Management Experience in a retail, hospitality, or salon environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities across two physical locations.
• Strong leadership skills focused on accountability and positive team motivation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential for client issue resolution and email management).
• Comfortable using scheduling software (Mangomint preferred) and basic inventory tracking systems. We can also train you on the software.
• Availability for 20-25 dedicated hours per week, with flexibility to cover both locations as needed.
