About Us:

Wham Bam Systems is a 7-year-old, Florida-based company designing, engineering, testing, marketing, and supporting innovative products for hobbyists, pros, engineers, print farms, cosplayers, miniature builders—everyone who prints.

We sell primarily direct-to-consumer via Shopify (≈80% direct; ≈20% retail/distributors), with customers ~75% U.S. / ~25% international (EU focus). We also sell through Amazon, Facebook and other social platforms. We are primarily an online business with very little brick and mortar.

We handle design, customer support, tech support, product development, engineering, graphic design, operations, and warehousing in-house at our Florida HQ for quality and speed; production is in China with logistics support from our Taiwan office.

The Role: We’re hiring a part-time Marketing Manager to own social campaigns, product launches, and event activations. You’ll pick up the baton from our previous manager, create a 12-month plan, run day-to-day campaigns, manage influencers and affiliates, and report results with clear, actionable metrics.

This role reports to the CEO and works with the team including: graphic designer, customer support, logistics to ensure a smooth workflow.

You would own day-to-day paid social/SEM budgets of about $500, with monthly recommendations for reallocation based on ROAS/CPA.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the plan: Audit existing marketing (assets, campaigns, budgets), then deliver a 12-month marketing roadmap covering social, launches, promos, and events.
  • Run campaigns end-to-end: Brief creative, coordinate internal graphics, build content calendars, schedule/posts, optimize paid and organic across the right channels.
  • Influencers & affiliates: Recruit, brief, negotiate, track performance; maintain relationships and the affiliate program.
  • Launches & events: Plan GTM for new products; coordinate timelines, assets, landing pages, email/SMS, social, and light event support (e.g., trade shows/meetups).
  • Community & support content: Grow and moderate Discord/Reddit; develop our knowledge base and process/SOPs for repeatable marketing operations.
  • Analytics & reporting: Set up dashboards; deliver weekly snapshots and monthly deep dives on conversions, ROAS/CPA, traffic, CTR/engagement, email/SMS growth, affiliate performance, and sales impact.

First 7/14/30 Days — What Success Looks Like:

Day 7: Audit current marketing (channels, assets, budgets, tracking) and secure credential handoff.Identify any urgent carry-over promos/launches; deploy bridge content/ads to prevent gaps.Stand up baseline dashboard (GA4 + Shopify) and standardize UTM rules.Publish a 4-week content calendar; ship the first posts.Begin influencer/affiliate outreach (≈10 priority prospects) and quick-win fixes.Coordinate with in-house designer: submit asset briefs (sizes/copy/deadlines) and start an asset tracker.

Day 14: Dashboard live with weekly snapshot (traffic, CVR, AOV, ROAS/CPA, email/SMS growth).Execute any urgent carry-over campaign; launch first integrated micro-campaign (organic + paid) on a priority SKU/bundle.Send 1 email/SMS campaign and improve/add 1 lifecycle flow. (Currently MailChimp)Ship samples to creators; propose affiliate tiers; publish core SOPs; draft 90-day launch/promo calendar.First designer assets in market; refresh one landing/collection page; add top FAQs to the knowledge base.

Day 30: Present 12-month plan + next-quarter roadmap with KPIs and testing plan.Ship a second integrated campaign with A/B tests; report deltas vs. baseline and recommend reallocations.Expand knowledge base (10+ SOPs) and activate 3 creator/affiliate partners with tracking.Lock a rolling 6–8 week campaign calendar; identify resourcing gaps and recommendations.

Tools You Know (or Ramp On Fast):

  • Core social & community: Facebook/Instagram (Meta Business Suite/Ads Manager), YouTube/YouTube Studio, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Snapchat, Discord, Reddit.
  • Ads/SEO/analytics: Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Semrush (SEO/keyword/competitors).
  • Content ops: Opus Clip (short-form repurposing), basic design/collab tools (e.g., Canva/Adobe to brief our internal design team).
  • eCommerce: Shopify (admin, themes, reports), Amazon Seller Central (nice to have).
  • Nice to have: Amazon Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, Meta conversion APIs, Google Merchant Center, affiliate platforms/networks, Paddle or other payment/checkout tools.
  • Bonus knowledge: Shopify platform, Amazon seller platform and website development.

What You Bring:

  • 5–10 years in marketing with 3–5 years focused on social/digital growth for DTC/eCommerce or adjacent tech/enthusiast brands.
  • Proven record running multi-channel campaigns that move conversions and revenue, not just followers.
  • Comfortable with performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CVR, CTR, CAC/LTV) and turning insights into next actions.
  • Strong copy + brief writing; tight project management across calendars, assets, and deadlines.
  • Experience managing creators/influencers and affiliate programs.
  • Builder mindset: you document processes, create SOPs, and improve the machine every week.
  • Degree in Marketing/Communications is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new tools and AI workflows is essential.

Schedule:

  • Part-time: 2–3 days per week (16-24 hours per week) , 9–5 on-site in Fort Lauderdale (limited hybrid considered).

Compensation

  • $20-$25/hr Commensurate with experience and skill level, with performance-based bonuses tied to measurable sales growth and campaign results.
  • Bonuses based on % of incremental revenue or ROAS targets.
