Position Summary Peyton School District 23-JT is seeking a part-time Math Teacher for Peyton Online Academy for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. This long-term substitute position offers the opportunity to work with motivated students in a flexible online learning environment while providing personalized instruction and support.

About Peyton Online Academy Peyton Online Academy (POA) is a well-established online school that serves students in grades 8-12 who live within 30 miles of the school building. It is a tuition-free, diploma-granting online school that uses an individualized approach to learning so students succeed at the highest academic level possible as they prepare for their future, whether it be going directly into the workforce, joining the military, or pursuing a college degree. POA courses are self-paced and available 24-7. While POA students are free to work from their home or other internet access point, many students come into our brick-and-mortar classroom to receive help from staff and to collaborate with other students. Additional opportunities are provided for students who want to attend classes (including Art, Automotive, Band, Choir, and Woods Manufacturing), to participate in athletic and extracurricular activities at Peyton Junior-Senior High School, and to attend college classes at PPSC.
