Part Time Math Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Math Tutor to support students of various ages and educational levels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics and education, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals.
• Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Support students in understanding complex math topics including geometry, trigonometry, calculus.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents or guardians as needed.
• Promote a growth mindset and motivate students to achieve their full potential in mathematics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various levels, including higher education or adult education settings.
• Strong knowledge of math subjects such as algebra, geometry, calculus, differential equations, etc.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse learners.
• Proficiency with learning technology platforms and computer skills relevant to online or classroom instruction.
• Experience working with children, preschoolers, or students with special needs is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups including early childhood education and adult learners.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
