Part Time Mechanic

Job Summary

As a key contributor, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of vehicles and machinery, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional service with precision and care. Having your own tools is a plus and ASE certs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters to test electrical circuits.
• Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and tracking purposes.
• Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
• Assist in the installation, adjustment, and replacement of mechanical components as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and complete repairs efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a part-time or flexible schedule setting.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Familiarity with using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety procedures.
