Part-Time Medical Aesthetician
Location: Medical Day Spa – Chapel Hill, NC
Schedule: 2 days per week (Tuesday and Friday), 1 Saturday per month
About the Role:
At MDS, our Medical Aestheticians are trusted skin experts and patient educators who help our clients achieve healthy and confident skin. In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating customized treatment plans, performing advanced skincare treatments, and guiding patients on both in-office services and at-home skincare routines.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform professional skin consultations and create personalized treatment plans.
- Provide advanced skincare treatments including facials, dermaplaning, Hydrafacials, and chemical peels.
- Educate patients on treatment expectations, aftercare, and customized skincare routines.
- Recommend and confidently work with medical-grade skincare products.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using our EMR system.
- Collaborate with providers and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Assist with social media and marketing initiatives, including occasional content creation (photos, videos, treatment features, etc.).
- Stay up to date on the latest skincare techniques, products, and industry trends.
About You:
- Confident, friendly, and passionate about helping people feel great in their skin.
- Experienced in performing facials, dermaplaning, Hydrafacials, chemical peels, and skin consultations.
- Comfortable working with medical-grade skincare lines such as ZO Skin Health, SkinBetter, Jan Marini, and Plated.
- Has experience working in a medical spa or clinical environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for skin health and treatment outcomes.
- Able to work independently while still being a supportive team player.
- Comfortable being part of a brand that values education, patient care, and a polished, elevated experience.
- Innovative and excited to collaborate with the team to bring patients the latest and most effective skincare treatments.
Qualifications:
- Active license in North Carolina (required)
- At least 2 years of aesthetic experience preferred (new aestheticians with strong potential and training may be considered)
- Skilled in facials, with experience in dermaplanes and chemical peels
