Part-Time Music Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year

Position Overview:
Guardian Angels Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Music Teacher to inspire students and foster a love of music. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, developmentally appropriate music program that supports our school’s mission and enhances students’ academic and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate music instruction for students.

• Teach foundational music skills, including rhythm, melody, notation, and musical appreciation.

• Incorporate singing, movement, instruments, and listening activities into lessons.

• Prepare students for school performances, liturgies, and special events as needed.

• Maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and administration.

• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (preferred).

• Experience teaching music to children in a school or group setting.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to support and uphold the values and mission of a Catholic school.

• Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with students.

Requirements:

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion and clearance of Level II fingerprinting and background screening.

• Must meet all diocesan and school employment requirements.
