Part time Music Teacher and Dance Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum & Instruction: Design and teach age-appropriate music (instruments, theory, history, vocal) and dance (styles, technique, choreography) aligned with CBSE guidelines.
• Skill Development: Enhance students' musicality, rhythm, coordination, creativity, and physical fitness.
• Performance & Events: Organize and lead rehearsals for school assemblies, annual functions, festivals, and competitions.
• Assessment: Evaluate student progress through practicals, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Environment: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and disciplined classroom/studio, encouraging self-expression.
• Collaboration: Work with other teachers on integrated cultural projects and communicate with parents about student growth.
• Resource Management: Maintain instruments, dance attire, and equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications (General)

• Proficiency in one or more instruments/dance styles (classical, folk, contemporary, Bollywood, etc.).
• Understanding of music theory and dance principles.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
• Creativity, patience, and adaptability.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Sangeet/Nritya Visharad, B.A. in Music/Dance) as per CBSE norms
