Part Time Nanny

Start Date: Flexible, asap but not rushed

Description:

This warm and welcoming family, located on the rural side of Winchester, is looking for a nanny to join them as a long-term partner in caring for their two young children—a curious and active 2-year-old boy and a sweet 6-month-old baby girl.

They are looking to begin as soon as the right fit is found, with flexibility on the exact start date. The position is scheduled for three consistent weekdays (family is flexible on which days, but prefers a set schedule once established), from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. While not required, occasional availability for date nights or weekend help would be a wonderful bonus.

This family values building a lasting relationship with a nanny who can truly grow alongside them. They do not plan to expand their family further and are excited to find someone who can become a steady, trusted presence in their children’s lives. As their children get older, they intend to homeschool and would love a nanny who is open to being involved in that journey.

Their parenting style encourages balance—limited, mindful screen time is okay, and plenty of outdoor play is encouraged, especially for their nature-loving toddler.

The home includes two dogs and an outdoor cat, so it is very important that their nanny genuinely enjoys being around animals.

In addition to attentive childcare, the family would appreciate help with light meal prep for the children and general tidying related to their care. If the family is out of town, having someone willing to stop in and assist around the house would be a plus.

This position offers guaranteed hours, with the potential for increased hours over time. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
