This family is looking for a nurturing, attentive caregiver who genuinely enjoys engaging with babies and understands how important connection, play, and stimulation are during this stage. Their ideal nanny is patient, interactive, and naturally drawn to creating meaningful days filled with movement, music, and play.

This role is all about caring for and engaging with their baby girl—someone who is fully present, interactive, and genuinely enjoys this sweet (and busy!) stage of infancy.

She is an active and very curious little one who thrives on connection and stimulation, so your days will be hands-on and engaging—think tummy time, reading, singing, outdoor time, and lots of playful interaction throughout the day.

This is a very creative and musical family—music, singing, and play are naturally woven into their days. Their faith is also an important part of their lives, and they would love a nanny who feels comfortable supporting that through simple, everyday moments.

Mom works from home, creating a flexible and supportive environment while still giving the nanny space to take the lead. The family is happy to let the nanny choose the two days and general hours that work best for her schedule, and once established, that schedule will remain consistent week-to-week.

Family

• 1 child (5 months old)
• Home includes 1 dog

Start Date

• As soon as the right fit is found

Wages

• $20–25 per hour (based on experience)
• 12–15 hours per week
• 12 guaranteed hours
• Paid weekly via payroll

Hours

• 2 days per week (nanny’s choice): Monday, Wednesday, or Friday
• Hours fall between: 8:30/9:00 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM
• Final schedule will be mutually agreed upon and then remain consistent

Benefits

• 5 paid sick days per year
• 4 Paid Holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Independence Day)

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for an infant
• Engage in enrichment activities such as reading, music, singing, tummy time, and outdoor play
• Support developmental milestones through interactive, hands-on care
• Follow baby’s feeding (bottles provided) and nap routines
• Maintain clean and organized baby spaces (bottles, play areas, diapering supplies)
• Communicate openly with mom about the baby’s day, routines, and needs

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Clean Criminal Background
• Non-smoker (or vaping)
• No use of illicit or illegal drugs
• 3 Professional References (not including family)
• CPR & First Aid Certified (required before start date)
• Must be dependable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience caring for babies
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
• Warm, calm, and engaging care-giving style
• Comfortable working alongside a parent who works from home
• Interest in building a long-term relationship with the family
