Part time Nanny - Muslim Nannies

Seeking a part-time nanny to support children within a Muslim household. This role involves providing attentive, nurturing childcare in a respectful and culturally aware home environment. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and experienced in caring for children of various ages, and is comfortable supporting daily routines that reflect the family’s values and practices.

Selected candidates will be required to attend a mandatory orientation on 5/3 from 10 AM–5 PM, followed by a Family/Nanny Mixer on 5/16, where nannies will have the opportunity to meet and connect with families for potential placement.

Duties

• Provide attentive care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap times
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks aligned with family preferences and dietary needs
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and developmental support
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, including tidying toys and children’s spaces
• Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development through positive interaction and care
• Follow family routines and household guidelines with consistency and respect

Requirements

• Prior experience in childcare (nannying, babysitting, daycare, or similar roles)
• Knowledge of child development stages from infancy through preschool age
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Ability to assist with light housekeeping and meal prep related to childcare
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with families
• Experience with infants, toddlers, and young children
• Respect and comfort working in a culturally and religiously diverse household environment
• Experience supporting children with special needs is a plus
• Additional languages are a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
