We are an active, structured, and warm family seeking a part-time nanny to support our 9-year-old daughter. Both parents work from home, though Dad travels frequently. We value open communication, organization, and consistency, and we are looking for a nanny who will feel like a trusted and professional extension of our family.
Our daughter thrives on routine. After school, she has downtime followed by homework, dinner around 5:30 to 6:00 PM, bath at 6:30 PM, and a bedtime routine beginning at 7:30 PM. We are an outdoors-oriented family and love spending time in Winter Park hiking, skiing, rock climbing, and riding bikes together. We live close to trails and enjoy being outside regularly. Our neighborhood also offers a pool and tennis courts, and we prefer active, creative play and meaningful engagement over screen time.
We are looking for someone who is kind, caring, organized, and empathetic. Flexibility is especially important, as we both have busy professional schedules and occasionally need adjustments to the weekly rhythm. We value strong communication and prefer to work as a team on anything concerning our daughter. We appreciate a nanny who is proactive, collaborative, and comfortable maintaining structure while keeping things warm and engaging.
We also have a large lab poodle mix who is loving and well behaved.
