About the Family

This warm and energetic family of five, recently relocated from Brooklyn to Larchmont, is seeking a seasoned nanny/family assistant to support their three children — 6-year-old and 3.5-year-old twins — during afternoon and early evening hours. They are an experienced nanny family who value professionalism, warmth, and initiative. The home includes a small dog, and mom largely works from home, so comfort in a collaborative yet independent work style is essential.

They are looking for someone who can step confidently into a busy household, keep children actively engaged, and help maintain the flow of the home.

The Role (Day-to-Day Care)

This is a dynamic, hands-on role requiring high engagement and proactive planning. Responsibilities include school pickups (driving required), creating structured and interactive afternoon activities, supporting homework (as applicable), facilitating outdoor play, and managing transitions into the evening routine.

The nanny will also support household tasks related to the children and family, including cleaning the kitchen after meals, assisting with family laundry, and helping keep common areas tidy. This role requires someone who can confidently juggle three children at different developmental stages while maintaining warmth and structure.

Collaboration & Communication

Mom works largely from home and values open, communicative partnership. The ideal nanny is confident, self-directed, and respectful of a parent-present dynamic while maintaining leadership with the children. Proactive communication, alignment on routines, and professional boundaries are important.

Experience with toddlers and early elementary ages is essential. Spanish-speaking familiarity is a plus.

Requirements

• Prior experience caring for multiple young children simultaneously

• Strong driving record and confident driver (required)
