A warm, creative family in West Hartford is seeking a part-time nanny to join their home!

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

7:50 AM – 5:15 PM (27–28.5 guaranteed hours)

Start Date: May 25, 2026

Rate: $26–$27/hr

Long-term preferred (potential for more days in the future)

• Guaranteed hours + sick days offered
• Open to discussing additional benefits in the future for the right fit

About the Family:

Two sweet boys (ages 4.5 and almost 2) in a creative, engaging household. The family follows a Montessori-style approach and values connection, creativity, and keeping the kids actively engaged (minimal screen time)

Their older child has autism (level 1), so they’re looking for someone patient, kind, and comfortable supporting emotional regulation with a gentle, consistent approach.

What They’re Looking For:

-Reliable, communicative, and nurturing

-Comfortable holding boundaries in a calm and respectful way

-Open to bringing the children to local activities/classes

Experience working with children with autism is a plus.

Requirements:

• Willing to pass a background check
• Clean driving record
• CPR & First Aid certified
• At least 3 years of paid professional childcare experience

Additional Details:

• Care includes child-related meals, laundry, and light tidying
• Family car provided for outings
• Parent works from home (in-office), father works outside the home
