Part –time Nanny (Professional / Career Nanny)

Location: Iowa Colony, Texas
Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:00 pm- 5:00pm (15 hours/week)
Compensation: $22- $25 / hour (DOE)

A warm, family-oriented household of three, soon to be four, is seeking a nurturing and dependable part-time nanny to grow with their family. With a newborn expected in June and an active two-year-old currently at home, the family is looking for someone who brings both experience and intentionality into their caregiving.

The father works from home, so there will always be a parent nearby, creating a collaborative and supportive environment for the nanny.

Position Overview

This role will initially focus on caring for our two-year-old, with a transition into supporting both the toddler and newborn after the baby’s arrival in June.

The ideal candidate is confident in infant care, understands developmental milestones, and thrives in a structured environment. They should be proactive, organized, and capable of maintaining consistent routines that support the children’s emotional and physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care to a two-year-old and newborn (after June)
• Establish and maintain consistent daily routines (meals, naps, playtime)
• Support age-appropriate developmental activities and learning
• Assist with basic infant care including feeding, diapering, and soothing
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates and needs
• Work collaboratively in a home where a parent is present (dad works from home)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional childcare experience
• Prior experience caring for infants and toddlers (required)
• Strong understanding of child development and routines
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistency
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
