• Secondary Care: 6-Year-Old Child (In School During Most Working Hours)

• Bilingual in English and any second language (strongly preferred)

About the Family

A warm, quiet, and loving family in San Francisco is seeking an experienced newborn nanny to join their household long-term. TThe family has recently welcomed a newborn and is looking for a compassionate caregiver to provide attentive infant care during this special season. Their 6-year-old attends school during the day, making newborn care the primary focus of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for a newborn throughout the day
• Support healthy feeding, sleeping, and developmental routines
• Ensure the newborn's safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
• Assist with the family's transition as they welcome a new baby
• Occasionally care for the family's 6-year-old child as needed
• Prepare simple meals and assist with light cooking
• Complete light household cleaning and laundry while the older child is at school
• Maintain a clean, organized, and peaceful home environment
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines, milestones, and daily activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience with significant newborn care experience
• Strong understanding of newborn development, feeding, sleep practices, and safety
• Calm, patient, nurturing, and emotionally attuned caregiving style
• Comfortable working collaboratively with work-from-home parents
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before start date
• Must provide excellent professional childcare references
• Must be current on TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu, MMR, Varicella (Chickenpox), and Hepatitis B vaccinations

Compensation & Benefits

• $45+/hour based on experience and qualifications
• 28 guaranteed hours per week
• Waymo transportation support provided when applicable
