Part Time Office Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing essential support to our financial operations. This role requires a strong understanding of various accounting principles and practices, as well as familiarity with QuickBooks

Duties

  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
  • Manage general ledger entries and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
  • Collaborate with auditors during the annual audit process to provide necessary documentation.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
  • General administrative work related to projects such as recipe costing, account management and light research.

Skills

  • Proficiency in governmental accounting principles and practices is preferred.
  • Strong experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting is essential.
  • Excellent account reconciliation skills to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting skills to navigate complex financial data effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
