Part Time Opening Support Teacher

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the learning needs of students.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students, ensuring their emotional and academic well-being.
• Organize and structure lessons to make learning enjoyable, relevant, and meaningful.
• Foster a dynamic classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking.
• Help students develop both academic and personal skills, guiding them on their journey of self-discovery and growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and progress.

Qualifications:

At least 18 years of age and meet ODJFS requirements.

High school degree required; some college preferred

Previous experience providing classes/programs/activities for youth

Effective leadership and group management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to the philosophy and goals of Kiddie Academy and it partners

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 12:30 pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
