The Role

We're a 21-year-old TSA-certified courier headquartered in Bentonville, serving hospitals, clinics, and time-sensitive medical clients across Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Our warehouse runs around the clock with three shifts — day, evening, and overnight — and we need a dependable utility teammate who can cover across all three as needed.

You'll have a core schedule of at least 20–25 hours a week, with the specific shifts varying based on coverage needs. Some weeks you'll be on days, some weeks evenings, some weeks overnights. Hours regularly go higher when we need extra coverage, and for someone who outshines the rest, this role becomes full-time.

This is an apprentice role on purpose. You'll be cross-trained across warehouse, dispatch, and operations — the same fundamentals our managers built their careers on. We're also building iAmCourier, a modern SaaS dispatch platform that NWA Courier runs on daily — so you'll get real exposure to how logistics software actually works in production. We promote based on performance, not seniority. If you've ever been the person who quietly outworked everyone around you and waited for someone to notice — we notice.

What You'll Do

Depending on which shift you're covering:

• Monitor incoming orders and dispatch drivers when calls come in
• Walk a posted hourly checklist — security rounds, dock checks, facility tidy
• Stage and organize shipments for the next shift
• Light receiving and inventory moves
• Log a clean handoff before you leave
• Lock up when needed — you'll be a keyholder

• Calm and alert in a quiet environment — comfortable working mostly solo on slower shifts
• Detail-oriented with basic computer skills (we'll train you on our dispatch system)
• Able to follow written SOPs and checklists without being reminded
• Takes initiative — sees what needs doing and does it without being asked
• Physically able to handle warehouse tasks — lifting, walking, standing
• Must pass a background check (keyholder + medical client requirement)
• Reliable transportation to the facility

Prior warehouse, dispatch, security, hotel front desk, or hospital experience is a plus but not required. We'll train the right person.
