Part-time or freelancer FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Designer and Project Manager

Prestige Nest Holiday Homes is a high-end holiday home company based in Dubai, specializing in premium apartments in Downtown Dubai. Our signature design style blends Japandi interiors with refined wabi-sabi–inspired aesthetics, creating serene, contemporary, and luxurious spaces. Our portfolio of new properties continues to grow.

We are seeking a talented freelancer or part-time FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Designer and Project Manager with design and project management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present FF&E concepts, mood boards, and curated material palettes (wood, marble, travertine, concrete) aligned with the project’s design vision and brand identity for our new properties
• Source and specify furniture, fabrics, lighting, artwork, media walls, decorative wall concepts, and accessories from reputable suppliers for our new projects
• Select and design custom furniture items including sofas, chairs, dining tables, coffee tables, bedside tables, beds, and more.
• Specify fixtures such as lighting, window treatments, cabinetry hardware, and other functional elements.
• Curate and procure equipment and accessories including artwork, rugs, electronics, and décor pieces that elevate the space.
• Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, BOQs, and cost summaries.
• Coordinate design intent through procurement, delivery, and installation, ensuring consistent quality and execution across all project stages.
• Stay updated on trends in luxury holiday home interiors, materials, brands, and suppliers—both local and international.
• Oversee projects from concept to completion, managing timelines and ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Coordinate and manage the maintenance and upkeep of existing Prestige Nest units.

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong affinity with Japandi interiors and similar styles (organic modern, wabi-sabi–inspired minimalism).
• Proven experience in FF&E design for luxury residential or holiday home projects.
• Strong knowledge of international and local suppliers, materials, finishes, and furniture production.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and specification skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preference for applicants having a driving license and a car

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
