Part-time or PRN Med Tech - Small Personal Care Home. Will train the right candidate!

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time or PRN Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our small personal care home. This vital role involves providing high-quality, personalized care services to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Med Tech, you will work closely with residents who have varying needs. Your expertise will help create a nurturing environment where residents feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately following physician’s orders while adhering to HIPAA and medical documentation standards
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Accurately record medication administration in our electronic MAR - Medication Administration Record.
• Support other staff in their job duties and residents as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is a plus but will train the right candidate
• Certification as a Med Tech is a plus but will train the right candidate
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
