Part-Time Outreach & Sales Specialist (In Office Only)

This is an in-office position at our Greenville, SC location. This role is not remote, not hybrid, and not flexible on location. Please only apply if you can be in our office Monday through Friday.

About Us

Business Buddy is a digital marketing agency that works exclusively with home service companies (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, and more). We help contractors grow their businesses through advertising, SEO, content, web design, and AI-powered marketing. We are a small team that moves fast, cares about results, and actually likes the people we work with.

The Role

We are looking for someone who is great on the phone and motivated by results to join our team part-time. You will be the first point of contact for leads coming in from our advertising campaigns. Your job is to connect with these leads, get them registered and showing up for our webinars, and follow up afterward to close sales on our marketing packages.

This is not appointment setting. This is not cold calling strangers from a bought list. These are people who have already raised their hand and shown interest. Your job is to move them through the process and help them make a decision.

The day-to-day looks like this:

  • Call and text new leads from our ad campaigns to start the conversation
  • Get qualified leads registered for our upcoming webinars
  • Call and remind registered attendees so they actually show up (your show rate matters here)
  • Follow up with everyone who attended the webinar to close sales on our $997 marketing bundle
  • For leads who are interested but not ready for the bundle, qualify them and book a free audit with our owner (only if they meet our criteria, not just anyone with a pulse)
  • Follow up with people who registered but did not show to get them into the next webinar
  • Keep the cycle moving so no lead falls through the cracks
  • Use AI tools to write follow-up messages, emails, and texts (we will provide the tools and train you)
  • Work inside our CRM (HighLevel) to log activity, update lead status, and manage your pipeline

Compensation

  • $16-17/hour base pay
  • $75 bonus per bundle sale closed
  • Monthly bonus for hitting webinar show rate targets
  • $25 bonus per qualified audit booked (must meet our criteria)

You Are a Good Fit If You...

  • Are comfortable picking up the phone and talking to business owners
  • Can handle hearing "no" and keep going without taking it personally
  • Are organized and can manage a lead list without letting people slip through the cracks
  • Like working toward goals and bonuses, not just collecting a paycheck
  • Are comfortable with technology and can learn new tools quickly
  • Can write a clear, professional text or email (with AI assistance)
  • Are self-motivated and do not need someone standing over you to stay productive
  • Genuinely enjoy talking to people and building rapport

Bonus Points If You...

  • Have experience with HighLevel, HubSpot, or any CRM platform
  • Have used AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for writing
  • Have worked in sales, inside sales, or lead generation before
  • Have any background in marketing, home services, or small business

  • You dislike being on the phone
  • You are looking for a quiet desk job with no interaction
  • You need someone to tell you exactly what to do every hour of the day
  • You see this as "just a part-time gig" and are not interested in growing

Hours & Location

  • Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day (specific hours are flexible but must be during business hours)
  • In-office at our Greenville, SC location
  • This is not a remote or hybrid position

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
