Part-Time Paid Internship – Photographer / Videographer / Social Media Content Creator

Location: Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego)

We are seeking talented and motivated undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Photography, Videography, Film, Media, or Social Media Management who are based in Southern California (LA, Orange County, San Diego).

This is a paid, part-time internship (10–30 hours per week) working directly as the personal photographer/videographer for internationally recognized DJ @deejayal, who holds residencies at major Las Vegas nightclubs and performs at high-profile events across the U.S. and internationally.

This is a rare opportunity to gain real-world experience in the music and nightlife industry while building an elite portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the personal photographer and videographer for @deejayal
• Capture content at:
• Nightclub residencies in Las Vegas
• Public and private events
• Studio sessions
• Travel days
• Daily lifestyle moments (gym, behind-the-scenes, getting ready for shows, etc.)
• Create and produce engaging vlogs
• Edit high-quality videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
• Identify current social media trends and develop creative content ideas
• Conceptualize and execute trending content for:
• New music releases
• Behind-the-scenes moments
• Daily activities
• Touring life

Travel Requirements

• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally with the DJ (US passport is required)
• Travel expenses are fully covered

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related field
• Based in Southern California (LA, Orange County, or San Diego)
• Own professional-grade photography and videography equipment
• Proficient in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and short-form content
• Flexible schedule (10–30 hours per week)
• Comfortable working late nights and in nightlife environments
• Professional, reliable, discreet, and adaptable

Position Details
