Part Time Pain Management & PMR Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct physical examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to perform various clinical procedures.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive physical and medicine rehabiliation physical examinations and assessments of patients.
  • Create holistic pain management plans for skilled nursing patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a skilled nursing environment to enhance patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program or Master's Degree Physician Assistant
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification and state licensure.
  • Valid Texas DEA
  • Pain Management and/or Physiatry experience in skilled nursing facilities
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical skills relevant to the role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and continuous professional development.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
