Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct physical examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to perform various clinical procedures.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical and medicine rehabiliation physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Create holistic pain management plans for skilled nursing patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a skilled nursing environment to enhance patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program or Master's Degree Physician Assistant
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification and state licensure.
- Valid Texas DEA
- Pain Management and/or Physiatry experience in skilled nursing facilities
- Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical skills relevant to the role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
