Job Overview

Building Blocks Facades is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Multi-State Payroll Specialist to manage and execute the full payroll process for a multi-state, partially unionized workforce. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of payroll mechanics from onboarding through year-end and close coordination with HR, operations, and finance.

Key Responsibilities

· Process multi-state payroll using ADP

· Manage the full payroll lifecycle including validation, submission, and reconciliation

· Process union and non-union payroll and required reporting

· Maintain I-9 documentation and compliance

· Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end ADP reports

· Reconcile payroll funding and general ledger reports

· Support audits and special projects as requested

Compliance & Reporting

ADP handles all payroll tax filings and compliance including Forms 940, 941, SUI, federal and state filings, and health & welfare benefits. This role ensures data accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance oversight.

Key Competencies - Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• Multi-state payroll expertise
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Union payroll and reporting experience
• ADP experience preferred
• Construction or manufacturing payroll experience preferred
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Odoo Experience preferred
