Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Penetration Tester to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This role is ideal for a self-driven cybersecurity professional who can identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and provide actionable remediation guidance across a variety of client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform network, web application, and wireless penetration testing
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
• Simulate real-world attack scenarios to identify security weaknesses
• Document findings in clear, professional reports with remediation steps
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to explain findings and risks
• Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and techniques

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles
• Experience with tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, etc.
• Knowledge of common frameworks (OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK)
• Ability to write detailed technical reports and communicate findings clearly
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (OSCP, CEH, GPEN, eJPT, etc.)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Scripting or programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001)

Work Details:

• Flexible hours based on project needs
• Fully remote
• Paid per engagement or hourly (based on experience)

Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
