Z Dog Daycare is a boutique small-dog daycare in Center City Philadelphia focused on personalized care, small packs, and Big Love for Small Dogs.

We are seeking a calm, reliable Dog Daycare Associate to support our growing pack. This role is primarily focused on small dog daycare supervision and animal care in a structured, low-stress environment.

This is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals in a smaller, more personalized setting.

Schedule

• 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Some weekend shifts available

Consistent afternoon availability required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small-dog play in indoor and outdoor daycare areas
• Maintain safe, structured pack dynamics
• Monitor canine behavior and redirect as needed
• Support feeding, enrichment, and rest routines
• Maintain a clean, sanitary daycare environment
• Communicate clearly with team members
• Welcome clients professionally at drop-off and pick-up

This is primarily a daycare supervision role. Walking is minimal.

Qualifications

• Love for small dogs
• Calm, patient, steady energy
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable being active and on your feet
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in dog daycare, animal care, vet tech, rescue, or pet care is a plus
• Must live near Center City / Rittenhouse
• Must pass background check

Compensation

$16–$18 per hour based on experience and reliability.
