We also offer wedding and other event chaperone services as well as pet transport to vet appointments, grooming, and training. In this fun and fulfilling role, you’ll provide exceptional pet care services by walking dogs, offering companionship, and ensuring the well-being of pets in their owners’ absence. Responsibilities

• Take dogs on engaging walks, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
• Provide attentive pet sitting, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and maintaining daily routines
• Monitor pets’ behavior and health, reporting any concerns or unusual symptoms promptly
• Maintain clean and organized pet areas, including kennels, litter boxes, and other pet areas
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets’ activities, behaviors, and any special needs.
• Assist with pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when required
• Perform small household tasks such as collecting mail and packages, watering plants, and taking out trash and recycling

Requirements

• Must LOVE animals and be comfortable working with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, lizards, and other small animals
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in all weather conditions
• Must be extremely reliable and punctual
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and work independently
• Must be comfortable using or learning to use a web based booking and pet care system
• Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is highly preferred
• Availability for some early morning, night, weekend, and holiday visits
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle large or heavy animals safely
• Strong customer service skills to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners
• Must be able to pass a background and driving check

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
