Part-time Physician Assistant - Orthopaedic Hand Surgery

Established private orthopedic hand surgery practice in Orange County is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant to join our Hand Surgery team. This is a part-time position with mainly clinic responsibilities, 2 days/week, working directly with an award winning fellowship-trained hand surgeon.

We are looking for a PA who is efficient, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced private practice environment.

Responsibilities:

 Evaluate and manage patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions

 Perform histories and physical exams

 Develop and implement treatment plans

 Assist in the operating room (optional depending on experience and skill)

 Provide pre-operative and post-operative care

 Perform in-office procedures including injections, splinting and wound care

 Order and interpret imaging studies

 Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation

Qualifications:

 Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

 NCCPA certification

 Active California PA license

 Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred

 Hand surgery experience strongly preferred

 Strong clinical and communication skills

 Competitive salary based on experience
