Position Overview:
We are looking for a caring and reliable Part-Time Pre-K Assistant Teacher to support our classroom. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping children learn, grow, and prepare for their next steps into kindergarten.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities
• Support children in learning basic skills such as letters, numbers, and early writing
• Help children develop fine motor skills (cutting, coloring, pencil grip, etc.)
• Encourage social skills like sharing, listening, and teamwork
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions
• Communicate positively with children, staff, and families
• Assist with classroom setup, activities, and end-of-day cleanup

Qualifications:

• Experience working with preschool-aged children (daycare or school setting preferred)
• CDA or currently working toward one is a plus
• Patient, nurturing, and energetic personality
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

Pay:
Starting at $16.50/hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
