Aquarelle Kids Academy is seeking a Part Time Assistant Teacher to Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Part Time Preschool Assistant Teacher, Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 6:30pm, dedicated to nurturing and guiding one-year-old children in a warm, engaging environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support young learners’ growth and development through compassionate care, structured activities, and personalized attention. Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans focused on early childhood.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages curiosity and respectful interactions among children.
• Engage with children through play-based activities that promote development in areas like language, motor skills, and social-emotional learning.
• Help with daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety for each child.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to develop individualized strategies for children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or behavioral challenges.
• Maintain clear communication with parents about their child's progress and daily experiences.

Skills

• Strong understanding of childhood development stages for Infant one year old.
• Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for early learners.
• Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Excellent classroom management skills to foster a safe and organized learning environment.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and connect with families.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
