Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Part-time Assistant Teacher to join our team and work with our 3 and 4-year-old age groups. This position is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The Assistant Teacher will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom by assisting with daily learning and care activities, helping to create a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Support classroom teachers in executing daily educational and care routines.

· Encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of children.

Compensation

The starting pay for this position is based on the candidate’s education and experience, with potential increases for those with relevant qualifications and background.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

· Prior experience working in child care settings is preferred.

Requirements for Employment

· High school diploma

· Certification in First Aid and CPR

· Successful completion of state and federal child care specific background checks

· Current physical examination

· Current TB test

Pay: $13.00 - $16.34 per hour
