Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dynamic language curriculum tailored to preschool learners, incorporating elements of literacy education, phonics, vocabulary building, and storytelling.
• Plan and execute engaging Spanish lesson plans that promote active participation and foster early communication skills in young children.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Support children’s overall development by integrating activities related to childhood development milestones, social skills, and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design inclusive lessons that accommodate children with special education needs or requiring early intervention support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about children's achievements, challenges, and developmental goals to foster strong home-school connections.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development focused on literacy education, language acquisition, and early childhood pedagogy.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for toddlers and preschoolers to promote positive classroom dynamics.
