Part Time Preschool Teacher - Afternoon Floater/Closer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our students, ensuring their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that incorporate various subjects such as math, physical education, and special education needs while promoting child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
• Manage classroom activities and maintain an organized and safe environment conducive to learning.
• Conduct standardized testing as required to assess student progress and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Teach physical education activities that promote physical health and well-being.
• Provide support for children with special education needs, ensuring inclusivity in the classroom.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior, adapting teaching methods as necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment.
• Knowledge of child welfare principles and practices.
• Familiarity with teaching methodologies for preschool-aged children, including math concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A background in special education is a plus but not mandatory.
