Part Time Preschool Teacher Aide

Stepping Stones Daycare and Preschool has proudly served families for 42 years, providing a nurturing environment for children from 33 months to 12 years of age. We are dedicated to fostering growth and learning through engaging programs and compassionate staff.

We are seeking a motivated and energetic part-time Preschool Teacher Aide to join our dynamic team, to work 2 pm to 6 pm Monday through Friday. In this vital role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s early childhood education journey.

Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation aligned with curriculum standards. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment by managing materials, supervising children during activities, and encouraging positive behavior. Assist with classroom management strategies to promote respectful interactions and effective behavior management among children. Support the development of social skills through guided play, group activities, and communication exercises.

Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and childhood education best practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Demonstrated classroom experience in managing diverse groups of young children while maintaining a positive learning environment. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth in a nurturing setting.

Pay: From $13.73 per hour
