We are seeking a highly motivated, ethical, and compassionate Part-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-APRN) to join our growing for Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders program . Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments for new patients
- Perform History & Physicals (H&Ps) and initial psychiatric assessments
- Order and review medically necessary urine drug screens and labs
- Complete all clinical documentation within required time
- Develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with patients
- Create, implement, and adjust treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Active and unrestricted APRN license in the state of Florida
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist program
- PMHNP Certification required
- Strong clinical knowledge, particularly in psychiatry and substance use disorder treatment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (KIPU experience preferred)
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
