Part-Time Psychiatric Mental Health/Substance Abuse Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-APRN)

We are seeking a highly motivated, ethical, and compassionate Part-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-APRN) to join our growing for Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders program . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments for new patients
• Perform History & Physicals (H&Ps) and initial psychiatric assessments
• Order and review medically necessary urine drug screens and labs
• Complete all clinical documentation within required time
• Develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with patients
• Create, implement, and adjust treatment plans using evidence-based practices
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Active and unrestricted APRN license in the state of Florida
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist program
• PMHNP Certification required
• Strong clinical knowledge, particularly in psychiatry and substance use disorder treatment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (KIPU experience preferred)

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
