Part-Time Remote Receptionist / Customer Service Representative (1099)

Job Type: Part-Time (Independent Contractor)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Flexible start times may be accommodated on certain days)
Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Job Summary

We are a home service company seeking a reliable and professional Remote Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and support customer communication. This is a part-time 1099 independent contractor position.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers professionally
  • Respond to and follow up on online inquiries
  • Qualify incoming leads and gather key details
  • Schedule sales appointments for field technicians
  • Schedule warranty and follow-up service visits
  • Answer customer questions about job status and scheduling
  • Follow up on open estimates/quotes to drive bookings
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM

Qualifications

  • Prior customer service or call handling experience preferred
  • Strong phone communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using computers and CRM systems
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Experience with Jobber CRM is a plus (training provided)
  • Must be familiar with the Charlotte metropolitan area (cities, neighborhoods, and general geography)
