Part-Time Representative Payee/Administrative Assistant

Helping Hands Caregivers is seeking a dependable and organized individual to join our team in a part-time Administrative Assistant / Representative Payee / Administrative role. This position combines office administration, customer service, and financial coordination while supporting individuals in our community.

Schedule

Office Hours (except holidays):

• 20-30 hours with options for flexible schedule.

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting pay: $17.00–$18.00/hour depending on experience
• Flexible work hours
• 401(k) benefits available for employees averaging 20+ hours per week
• Paid mileage for approved field-related travel

Responsibilities:

• Customer service calls with clients, vendors, and payor sources
• Coordinate Representative Payee services through Social Security and banking institutions
• Assist with bill payments and financial record tracking
• Allocate and post transaction details in billing systems
• Reconcile invoices and banking information
• Maintain filing systems and required documentation
• Support onboarding and communication with internal staff

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable with computers, Google Workspace, and online banking
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Experience in social services, healthcare administration, accounting, or nonprofit work is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
