ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY

SUMMARY: Currently searching for one part-time research associate for the Biological Sciences Department. The research associate will work under the mentorship of Principal Investigator Dr. Erin Questad.

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

• Assist faculty with field, laboratory, and computer-based research tasks related to research projects in the area of UAV-based remote sensing applications for pest control research.

• Assist in aspects of the project including but not limited to training and meeting attendance, field data collection; data entry and storage; sorting, filing, and organizing all research materials and data; data coding; data analysis; report preparation.

• Sorting arthropod samples and identifying to the lowest taxonomic level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have two years of professional experience in arthropod identification and data processing, including identification of broad taxonomic groups including beneficial insects and agricultural pests.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
