Part Time RGN Primary Care Treatment Room (Band 5)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time ( 16 Hours) Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our Primary Care Treatment Room. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment, supporting the delivery of effective healthcare services. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work within a supportive team committed to patient wellbeing. The salary range guidance is FTE, therefore will be pro rate to 16 hours

Duties

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, treatment, and health education.
• Administer medications accurately in accordance with prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories with attention to detail.
• Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Ensure the treatment room is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
• Support infection control procedures and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Provide compassionate support to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their visit.

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Proven experience in patient care within a primary care or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Competence in medication administration, including injections and wound care.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with patients of all ages.
• Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours as required, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service.

Pay: £37,150.00-£46,926.00 per year
