Part-Time Roblox Game Design Instructor – Los Angeles, CA
Location: 950 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015 (In-Person, On-Site at Local School)
Position Type: Part-Time | After-School Hours

Are you passionate about Roblox, Lua scripting, and game design? Learn2Code.Live is looking for a Part-Time Roblox Game Design Instructor to teach fun, hands-on after-school classes for students in grades 6–12 in Los Angeles, CA.

This is a flexible teaching opportunity perfect for college students, recent graduates, associate degree holders, and tech enthusiasts living near Inglewood, Hawthorne, Gardena, South Los Angeles, and Compton. No prior teaching experience is required—we provide full curriculum, training, and materials.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach Roblox Game Design classes using a ready-to-use curriculum
  • Guide students as they create Obbys, design interactive game mechanics, and publish their own playable games
  • Introduce Lua scripting concepts and assist with basic coding troubleshooting
  • Keep the class engaging, fun, and organized while supporting each student’s progress
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and Learn2Code.Live coordinators

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with Roblox Studio and basic Lua scripting
  • Friendly, patient, and able to work effectively with middle and high school students
  • Available weekdays after school (no weekend work)
  • Comfortable leading and managing a small classroom environment
  • Tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot basic software or hardware issues
  • Local candidates preferred from Los Angeles, Inglewood, Hawthorne, Gardena, South LA, Compton, and surrounding areas

Tools & Support Provided

  • Roblox Studio (free software)
  • Complete lesson plans and student activities (no lesson planning required)
  • Basic classroom AV/tech equipment
