Amare Wear is a NYC + SF-based brand offering luxury jewelry made with intention. We specialize in permanent jewelry and custom pieces, crafted with ethically sourced materials and in collaboration with skilled artisans around the world.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide engaging product demonstrations of our permanent jewelry services
• Assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces that fit their style and preferences, upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain an organized sales floor by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store remains clean, inviting and tidy
• Educate customers on jewelry care, store policies, and available promotions using clear communication skills
• Manage phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, answering questions about products and services promptly
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment and accurate record keeping

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in jewelry or fashion store environments with customer interaction
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to assist team members when needed
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively
• Experience with POS (Shopify) systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
• Ability to perform product demos confidently while engaging customers with enthusiasm
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Good communicator, responsible, friendly, easy to get along, pleasant and fun to interact with
• Works as a team, helping and assisting others, collaborative, enjoys being around people, helps others and makes others happy
• Degree or certification in Jewelry Design or in pursuit of a degree preferred
