Part-Time Sales Development Representative (Outbound Calls)
Location: Remote (New Jersey preferred; Eastern Time preferred)
Job Type: Part-time, Temporary
Expected Hours: Approximately 8–12 hours per week
Expected Initial Duration: Approximately 8–9 weeks, with possibility of extension based on performance and business needs
Pay: $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience
Bonus Opportunity: Additional bonus for qualified introductory meetings that are successfully scheduled and held
About us
We are a growing home care company serving older adults and families in New Jersey. We are looking for a smart, organized, and confident caller to help us with top-of-funnel outreach to referral-source organizations such as senior communities, elder law / estate planning offices, care managers, and selected senior living organizations.
This is not a full-cycle sales role and not a field sales job. This role is focused on outbound calls, contact discovery, appointment setting, and CRM follow-through. You will help us open doors and schedule introductions; the owner will lead the actual relationship-building and follow-up meetings.
Success in this role means consistently identifying the right contacts, keeping clean outreach records, and helping generate qualified intro meetings.
What you’ll do
- Make outbound calls to prebuilt target lists of organizations and professionals
- Identify the right contact person for referral or partnership conversations
- Briefly introduce our company in a clear, professional way
- Schedule introductory calls or meetings for the owner
- Keep accurate notes in our outreach tracker / CRM
- Update contact records, call outcomes, and next steps
- Send light follow-up communication when appropriate
What you will not be responsible for
- Closing sales
- Meeting revenue quotas
- Conducting in-person networking
- Owning referral relationships end-to-end
- Running marketing campaigns
- Handling patient or family intake

Preferred experience
- SDR, BDR, inside sales, appointment setting, telemarketing, lead generation, or outbound calling experience
- Experience booking meetings or supporting a founder / owner in a small business setting is a plus
- CRM or call-tracking experience is a strong plus
- Healthcare, senior care, legal, or community-outreach experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
- Approximately 8–12 hours per week
- Mostly weekday business hours in Eastern Time
- Flexible within agreed calling windows
Remote Work / Equipment Requirements
This is a remote role. The person hired must have access to and be comfortable using their own reliable laptop or computer, high-speed internet / Wi-Fi connection, and personal smartphone for work-related calls and communication during scheduled work hours.
This role is not eligible for reimbursement for home internet, mobile phone / wireless service, or personal equipment use, except where required by applicable law or as otherwise approved by the company.
Compensation
- $22–$28/hour depending on experience
- Additional bonus for qualified introductory meetings that are successfully scheduled and held
