Part-Time Science Teacher (Cambridge Curriculum – Grades 5 to 8)

About the Role: ABODE School is inviting applications for an experienced Science Teacher with Cambridge curriculum experience, available to join immediately.

The role involves teaching Grades 5 to 8 (Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary) on a part-time basis. The teacher will facilitate engaging, inquiry-based lessons that encourage curiosity and hands-on learning and align with Cambridge's way of teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary Science framework (Biology, Physics, Chemistry strands).

• Use experiments, demonstrations, and real-world examples to enhance understanding.
• Assess student progress through classwork, observation, and assessments.
• Coordinate with the academic team to ensure continuity in ongoing units and checkpoint preparation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Science or Education.
• Minimum 2 years of Cambridge teaching experience (mandatory).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Availability for 3–4 days a week (part-time schedule) or half-day 5 days a week.
• Must be available to join immediately.
