Part Time: Security Monitor - Worker, General Maintenance I

Salary Level: Start: $10.00 (T10)

Hours per week: Up to 29 hours

SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, this individual will perform work of an unskilled and semi-skilled nature. This position involves the following duties:

• Open and secure buildings at designated times.
• Monitor premises.
• Greet and assist visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Perform routine checks to ensure doors, lights, and alarms are properly secured.
• Follow established procedures when responding to issues.
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to understand and follow simple oral instructions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
